Returns & Refunds
30-Day Return Window You have 30 days from the date of delivery to initiate a return. Purchases made more than 30 days ago are not eligible for refund or exchange.
Eligibility Requirements To qualify for a return:
- The item must be unused, in new condition, and in its original packaging with all tags and accessories.
- Proof of purchase (order number) is required.
Perishable goods (e.g., soaps, bath products) may have stricter return conditions due to hygiene and safety regulations.
Refunds
Processing Timeline
- Once we receive your return, we’ll inspect it and notify you via email within 3 business days.
- If approved, your refund will be processed to your original payment method within 7 business days.
- Refunds appear on your statement depending on your bank or card issuer (typically 5–10 business days).
Sale & Promotional Items
- Final sale items (marked as such at purchase) are non-refundable.
- Regular-priced items are fully refundable if eligibility is met.
Exchanges
We only exchange items that arrive defective, damaged, or incorrect.
- Contact us at customerservice@alchemysoapcompany.com with photos and your order number.
- If approved, we’ll provide a prepaid return label (when applicable) and ship the replacement at no cost to you.
- We do not offer exchanges for size, color, or preference reasons.
Late or Missing Refunds
If your refund hasn’t appeared:
- Re-check your bank/credit card statement (including pending transactions).
- Contact your card issuer—refunds can take up to 10 business days to post.
- If still unresolved after 14 days, reply to our approval email or write to customerservice@alchemysoapcompany.com.
Gifts
- Direct-to-recipient gifts: Returns are issued as a gift credit (digital code) for the full value.
- Gifts shipped to purchaser: Refunds go to the original buyer, who will be notified of the return.

Customer Responsibility
- You are responsible for return shipping costs (unless the item is defective/damaged—see Exchanges).
- Original and return shipping fees are non-refundable.
- Return shipping costs will be deducted from your refund unless a prepaid label is provided.
Shipping Recommendations
- For returns over $75, use a trackable service and consider shipping insurance.
- We are not responsible for lost or damaged return shipments.
Non-Returnable Items
The following are exempt from returns/refunds:
- Gift cards
- Downloadable/digital products
- Items marked "Final Sale"
- Used or opened perishable goods (for hygiene reasons)
- Custom or personalized orders
