Returns & Refunds

30-Day Return Window You have 30 days from the date of delivery to initiate a return. Purchases made more than 30 days ago are not eligible for refund or exchange.

Eligibility Requirements To qualify for a return:

  • The item must be unused, in new condition, and in its original packaging with all tags and accessories.
  • Proof of purchase (order number) is required.

Perishable goods (e.g., soaps, bath products) may have stricter return conditions due to hygiene and safety regulations.


Refunds

Processing Timeline

  1. Once we receive your return, we’ll inspect it and notify you via email within 3 business days.
  2. If approved, your refund will be processed to your original payment method within 7 business days.
  3. Refunds appear on your statement depending on your bank or card issuer (typically 5–10 business days).

Sale & Promotional Items

  • Final sale items (marked as such at purchase) are non-refundable.
  • Regular-priced items are fully refundable if eligibility is met.

Exchanges

We only exchange items that arrive defective, damaged, or incorrect.

  • Contact us at customerservice@alchemysoapcompany.com with photos and your order number.
  • If approved, we’ll provide a prepaid return label (when applicable) and ship the replacement at no cost to you.
  • We do not offer exchanges for size, color, or preference reasons.

Late or Missing Refunds

If your refund hasn’t appeared:

  1. Re-check your bank/credit card statement (including pending transactions).
  2. Contact your card issuer—refunds can take up to 10 business days to post.
  3. If still unresolved after 14 days, reply to our approval email or write to customerservice@alchemysoapcompany.com.

Gifts

  • Direct-to-recipient gifts: Returns are issued as a gift credit (digital code) for the full value.
  • Gifts shipped to purchaser: Refunds go to the original buyer, who will be notified of the return.

Customer Responsibility

  • You are responsible for return shipping costs (unless the item is defective/damaged—see Exchanges).
  • Original and return shipping fees are non-refundable.
  • Return shipping costs will be deducted from your refund unless a prepaid label is provided.

Shipping Recommendations

  • For returns over $75, use a trackable service and consider shipping insurance.
  • We are not responsible for lost or damaged return shipments.

Non-Returnable Items

The following are exempt from returns/refunds:

  • Gift cards
  • Downloadable/digital products
  • Items marked "Final Sale"
  • Used or opened perishable goods (for hygiene reasons)
  • Custom or personalized orders
