Thank you for shopping with Alchemy Soap Company! We’re committed to getting your order to you quickly and safely. Below are the details of our shipping process, timelines, rates, and policies.

1. Order Processing Time

  • All orders are processed within 1–3 business days (Monday–Friday, excluding U.S. holidays).
  • Orders placed after 12 PM PST are processed the next business day.
  • Pre-orders or custom items may take 3–7 business days to prepare.
  • You’ll receive a confirmation email when your order is placed and a shipping notification with tracking once it ships.

2. Fraud Review & Order Holds

  • All orders are subject to automated fraud analysis by Shopify.
  • High-risk orders may be held or canceled without prior notice to protect both you and us.
  • If your order is flagged:
    • We may request additional verification (ID, payment proof, etc.)
    • Orders may be canceled and refunded if verification fails
    • You will be notified via email if action is taken

This is a standard security measure and not a reflection on you personally.

3. Shipping Methods & Carriers

We ship exclusively within the United States using trusted carriers:

  • USPS (First Class, Priority, Priority Mail Express)
  • UPS (Ground, 2nd Day Air, Next Day Air)
  • FedEx (on select high-value or expedited orders)

Free shipping is available on orders $75 or more (after discounts, U.S. only).

4. Shipping Rates

Rates are calculated at checkout based on:

  • Package weight and dimensions
  • Shipping destination within the U.S.
  • Selected shipping speed

Example U.S. Rates (Not Actual Prices – For Reference Only):

  • Standard Shipping (3–7 business days): ~$5.95 flat rate (free on $75+)
  • Priority Mail (2–3 business days): ~$9.95–$14.95
  • Express (1–2 business days): ~$24.95+

Actual rates vary and are shown at checkout. Higher rates apply to Alaska, Hawaii, and U.S. territories.

  • Standard: 3–7 business days
  • Priority: 2–3 business days
  • Express: 1–2 business days

Delivery times begin after your order ships. Weekends and holidays are not included. Note: These are carrier estimates. Delays due to weather, volume, holidays, or carrier issues are beyond our control and not our responsibility.

6. Where We Ship

We ship to:

  • All 50 U.S. states
  • APO/FPO military addresses
  • P.O. Boxes

We do not ship to Canada or any international destinations.

  • Perishable items (e.g., soaps in summer heat) may be held or shipped with protective packaging to prevent melting
  • Hazardous materials follow DOT ground shipping rules — no air shipping
  • We may upgrade or delay shipping to protect your items (e.g., ice packs in hot weather)

9. Lost, Delayed, or Damaged Shipments

Lost Packages

  • Contact us within 30 days of shipment
  • We’ll file a claim with the carrier
  • If confirmed lost, we’ll reship or refund

Damaged Items

Delayed Shipments

  • Delays may occur due to weather, holidays, or carrier volume
  • We are not responsible for carrier delays — please use tracking for updates

10. Address Accuracy

  • You must provide a correct and complete shipping address
  • Undeliverable packages (wrong address, refused, unclaimed) will be:
    • Returned to us (you pay return shipping)
    • Reshipped at your expense
    • Or refunded minus original shipping cost

11. Signature & Adult Delivery

  • Signature required for orders over $200
  • Adult signature (21+) may apply to restricted items
  • You can opt out at checkout (increases risk of theft/loss)

Expect longer processing and delivery during:

  • Black Friday / Cyber Week
  • Christmas / New Year
  • Major U.S. holidays

Order early to avoid delays.
